With training in functional medicine, neurotransmitters, brain, neuroendocrine and immune function we have the knowledge to help you get your life back. Most people we see have chronic conditions that have not responded well to other treatments or who have not met their health goals using other methods. During the 90’s, Dr. Alukonis continued his studies and expanded his expertise further in several areas such as clinical nutrition,functional medicine, pediatrics, advanced treatment for spinal disc problems, chronic illness and degenerative conditions, and weight loss. In 1999, Dr. Alukonis sold his practice in order to continue his studies and research. He desired to become as knowledgeable as he could in these areas. Education is of the utmost importance to him because it assists him in giving his patients the best possible care. In his more recent studies Dr. Alukonis has focused on Non-surgical Spinal Decompression, a treatment procedure that uses a spinal decompression table to heal herniated or bulging discs in your neck or lower back. Spinal decompression also successfully treats spinal disc degeneration, failed back surgeries, facet joints, spinal stenosis, and other conditions that cause neck, back, or extremity pain. After extensive research Dr. Alukonis knew spinal decompression could benefit many people in our community. In the last three years his expanded his practice working with children with ADD, ADHD, learning disorders, and autism spectrum.
